The IAF announced via Twitter that the online registration process for the Agnipath Recruitment Scheme was complete. In contrast to the previous recruitment cycle’s record-breaking 6,31,528 applications, this one saw 7,49,899 submissions, according to the statement. Under the Agnipath programme, persons between the ages of 17 and a half and 21 would be enlisted for a four-year stint in the armed forces, with 25% of them thereafter being enlisted for regular service.
